沿革History

セイドー文化センターは、1959年に設立された男子大学生・社会人を対象とした国際寮です。一般財団法人Altum協会（旧名称：一般財団法人精道教育促進協会）が運営しています。2018年に新しい建物に移転しました。 Seido Cultural Center is an international residence for male university students and business people established in 1959. It is an undertaking of Altum Foundation (formerly Seido Foundation for the Advancement of Education). We moved to a new building in 2018.

私たちの目指すものOur Aim

当センターは、学生が充実した学生生活を送り、卒業後に立派な社会人となっていくことを目指します。そのため、「人格をみがく」「教養を高める」「国際感覚を身につける」という目的に基づき、勉強、英会話、ボランティア活動、スポーツ、旅行などの活動を行っています。また社会人になった後もこういった活動に継続して参加できるよう、社会人も対象としています。 The center aims to enable students to fulfill their life and to become good adults after graduation. Based on the objectives of "polishing personality", "cultivating culture" and "acquiring an international sense", we conduct activities such as study, English conversation, volunteer activities, sports, and expeditions. It is also open to working adults so that they can continue participating in these activities after graduation.

インターナショナルな環境International Character

学生たちが互いを理解し、異文化や他人を尊重する精神を持つために、セイドー文化センターは国際寮として、日本人のみならず、世界各国の学生を受け入れています。各寮生が自由と責任をもってこのインターナショナルな雰囲気を保つことで、将来真の国際人となることができるでしょう。 As an international residence, Seido is open to students from Japan and all over the world, so that during their youth they can develop a capacity for mutual understanding, as well as respect for other people and cultures. Residents are expected to cooperate actively to maintain this atmosphere, exercising their liberty and personal responsibility — important habits for their future life.
